Family Retreat
Save-the-Date for our 2025 Family Retreat! Families with children and youth are invited to join us for a weekend of play, worship, and building relationships with church family. Our retreat will take place in Williamsburg, VA and more details will be available soon! Passport Missions (Youth)
PASSPORTmissions is a week-long experience empowering students to encounter Christ, embrace community, and extend grace to the world. We will travel to Harrisonburg, VA for a week of missions, Bible study, and fellowship together.

Richard Rohr, Book Discussion - The Tears of Things: Prophetic Wisdom for an Age of Outrage
Thursday, June 19, 7-8:30 pm (Zoom) and/or in-person discussion, Sunday, July 6, during Bible Study
Please read or listen to the book before attending. Books available on Amazon and at area bookstores. Zoom facilitated by Pastor Karna Marks of the Franciscan Spirituality Center. Cost for the Zoom session is $10. Scan the QR code for more information and to sign up and pay on your own OR we’ll help you sign up and pay for the Zoom session in the church office by Wed. June 17. Mom's Meetup
All moms are invited to meet up for dinner and conversation! This gathering is meant to be a time of fellowship and support for moms with children birth-college so that we might support each other in the joys and challenges that come with parenthood. We will meet at Harry’s Downtown at 6:30. Email Erin if you are interested or have any questions.

Passport Kids
Our week at camp will be June 11th-14th, 2025. Passport kids camp is for students who have completed 3rd-5th grade.



FXBG First Friday Together
Let’s meet in the church parking lot at 5pm where will pray together for our city before we disperse to enjoy and celebrate the arts, culture and community that downtown has to offer. Maps are available to help you plan your evening, and a free trolley shuttle will run from 5-8:30 pm to assist with navigating downtown. Contact Jeanne with questions.

Blood Drive
FXBG Baptist is partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive on Friday, June 6th from 10-4pm. If you are healthy and willing, please consider donating lifesaving blood to someone in need. Appointments are highly encouraged to donate.. Grand Opening FAM Exhibit: African American History in the Fredericksburg Area
Block party and speakers to help us mingle and meet while learning about and reflecting on our community’s life together. Meet in the church parking lot at 4:50 pm for prayer then we’ll walk down to the Museum together!
