Youth Ski Day Trip
All youth (7th-12th grade) are invited to join us for a Ski Day Trip to Wintergreen Ski Resort! You will have the opportunity to ski, snowboard (if you already know how), and/or tube.
Plan to block out the entire day for this trip. We will most likely leave the church parking lot around 6:30 am and be back around 8:30 pm.

Souper Bowl Cook-Off
Join us for a fun and friendly Chili & Soup Cook-Off on Super Bowl Sunday from 12:30–2:00 pm in Ferrell Hall!
Compete, taste, and vote for your favorites by purchasing $1 tickets (cash, check, or credit card via QR code) and placing them in the voting boxes. Vote for one or many! Prizes will be awarded for the top chili and top soup.
You can enter a chili or soup, help with setup or cleanup, or simply come enjoy the fun.
All proceeds support scholarships for our youth and children to attend Passport Camps this summer. For more details and to sign up, click link below.

Young Adults Beach Retreat
Join us for a Beach Retreat weekend in Cape Charles, VA on June 5-7! The retreat will go from Friday evening to Sunday morning. We will enjoy time reflecting, spending time in God's creation, and have fun fellowship together (and of course, time on the beach!).
Location: Cape Charles, VA (We have rented 2 Airbnbs that form a duplex right next to each other)
Cost: $75 (includes lodging, meals, and activities) Please bring money for ice cream and any extra spending money (there are lots of cute coffee shops and stores!) Full and partial scholarships are available -- contact Beth for more details about this.

Ladies' Fellowship
Chase the Chill with Theresie's Chili! All ladies are invited to join in a time of fellowship at Theresie Houghton’s home to enjoy tasty chili, cornbread and dessert. Mom's Meetup
Moms are invited to meet-up for dinner and conversation! This gathering is meant to be a time of fellowship and support for moms with children birth-college so that we might support each other in the joys and challenges that come with parenthood. Young Adults Next Chapter Small Group
Join us for a young adult small group led by Beth a few times each semester. We’ll begin with classic Bible study and devotionals, with plans to transition into a book studyyour book suggestions are welcome (theology, spirituality, or beyond!). Women's Mission Group
Please join us for the Women's Mission Group's meeting on Monday, January 12th at 1:00 in the Church's Blue Room. We meet on the 2nd Monday of every month. Most months we have a guest speaker and this month we will host Ms. Meghann Cotter . Ms. Cotter is the Executive Servant-Leader of Micah Ecumenical Ministries. A Night of Stars
A Night of Stars: January 4th, 5pm-7pm
Join us for an evening of fellowship that is sure to dazzle! On Sunday, January 4th we will gather for a church-wide variety show and dinner.
All ages are encouraged to sign up to participate in the show! You may sing, dance, play an instrument, perform a skit....the options are endless.
Young Adults Tacky Light Tour
Join us in celebrating the Christmas season with a Young Adults Tacky Light Tour in RVA led by Beth & Colin Bailey! We will meet at the church parking lot on Sunday, Dec. 21st by 4 pm and head down to RVA for dinner at ZZQ and to see some holiday lights around town. All are welcome & bring a friend!
Time: 4:00-9:30 pm (may be later depending on traffic)
What to Bring: Snacks + Drinks (non-alcoholic only) + Wear fun Christmas gear/clothing!

Youth Christmas Party
All youth (7th-12th grade) are invited to celebrate Christmas together! Join us for a progressive dinner and gift exchange on Sunday, Dec. 14th from 4:30-8:30 pm. We will start at The McGlone's house for appetizers, then head to the Overby's house for our main course, and finally head to the Stewart's for dessert and our gift exchange.
Drop-off is at church at 4:30 pm and pick-up will be at the Stewart's at 8:10 pm or back at church at 8:30 pm (make sure to let Beth know where you will be picking up your youth).
All you need to bring is a gift for the gift exchange that is no more than $15 in value (try to avoid bringing gift cards). Wear fun Christmas attire!
