Save the date! The Youth and Children Ministries Fall Kickoff will be Sunday, September 13th from 5:30-7 pm in the Fellowship Hall! Join us for dinner, games, and a preview of our year (including Passport and retreat dates!). A sign up will be coming out shortly!

Bring the whole family on Saturday, September 12th from 4-6pm for a fun evening at Braehead Farm! We'll gather around the fire to roast marshmallows, enjoy time together, and let the kids explore the farm's wonderful play areas. From swings and slides to farm animals and open space to play, there's something for everyone. Pack a lawn chair if you'd like, invite a friend, and join us for a relaxing evening of fun and fellowship. We hope to see you there!

Join us in Market Square on August 30th for a 5th Sunday outdoor worship service. We will gather together to enjoy some simple brunch items and coffee provided by Anita’s Cafe from 10am-10:15pm and then begin our worship service. You are encouraged to participate in your Sunday School class beforehand and then walk together to worship. Please bring a lawn chair and invite a friend or neighbor to join us for worship!

Moms are invited to meet-up for dinner and conversation! This gathering is meant to be a time of fellowship and support for moms with children birth-college so that we might support each other in the joys and challenges that come with parenthood. Join your church family for a fun night at the ballpark as we cheer on the Fredericksburg Nationals! We have reserved a hospitality area near the scoreboard, and each ticket includes access to an all-you-can-eat buffet during the game. The game begins at 6:35 pm on Friday, August 21st. Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for children ages 12 and under. Space is limited, so sign up and pay using the link below by August 21st to reserve your spot! Walkers of all ages and abilities are invited to join together at Pratt park for walking that promotes connection and health. We will meet in the parking lot of Pratt park at 7pm and begin walking by 7:05pm. If you have small children, feel free to bring bikes or scooters  or even just come to spend time with other parents on the playground. If you have dogs, feel free to bring them on a leash. Theology on Tap is back for the summer, but with a twist! We are meeting monthly during the summer for Backyard Theology on Tap from 7-8:30 pm where will fellowship & have dialogue on different topics that surround the theme of "Liberating Lenses." Our dates and locations for the summer are June 9th at the Houghton's House, July 21st at the Pryce's House, and August 18th at the Stewarts' House. Bring your own beverages (spirited or not) and a lawn chair and come ready to participate in engaging conversation! Join us for a joyful morning of play and connection in the church playroom! Families with little ones—from babies through preschool—are warmly invited to enjoy toys, simple activities, and time to connect with other children and caregivers. Museum of the Bible & Dead Sea Scrolls Exhibition, July 22nd 9am- 4pm

Join us for a trip to Washington DC to visit the Museum of the Bible and the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit. We will leave the church at 9am and  spend our day exploring exhibits and enjoying lunch together. We will plan to be back by 4pm or earlier depending on traffic. Cost of the trip is $32 and includes admission to the museum, Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit, and a boxed lunch. Please sign-up and pay for your trip by July 1st.
